Well, pretty much the only thing I have in my room that I put thought into buying and is something that other people have heard of is my lovely Apple MacBook. When I think of Apple, I think of...
1)reliable
2)expensive
3)sleek
4)cool
5)friend
The biggest thing that has shaped my perception of Apple is school. My middle school and elementary school only had Macs, and my high school had all PC's except for one Mac lab for graphic design. So basically, from about age 6 to age 14, I always thought of Macs as the computers with the cool games. I also had a computer teacher who constantly bashed PCs in his class, and then boasted over his Macs. When I started college last year, I bought a MacBook and have since bought tons of Apple products and I've never been disappointed.
Top 10 on brandtags
1) Apple
2) Mac
3) Cool
4) iPod
5) Design
6) Computer
7) Awesome
8) Innovative
9) Computers
10) Innovation
11)Expensive
Overall, my perception matches pretty well with what is out there. I think part of this is because for so long, Apple sort of stayed under everyone's radar, except for the people who knew of and liked Apple. Since then we've had the iPod and iPhone revolutionize music (hence innovation). Design is probably due to the fact that pretty much everyone in graphic design uses a Mac.

A Good Commercial
I don't know that this is necessarily my favorite commercial, but I do like it a lot. I just think it's hilarious. What catches my attention is the voice of the narrator. It sounds like a really goofy army commander. The music also helps a lot too. The humor of the commercial is what holds my attention. It really did make me want to buy a Vault, or at least it would have, if I liked energy drinks or Mellow Yellow. I think this is a very effective ad. Some people might not like it, but the people who would drink Vault, would think this commercial is awesome. Somebody would definitely remember the ad and want to try Vault.

GOALS!!!!
I suppose I have a lot of normal college student goals this semester. I want to pass my classes, learn some interestign stuff, etc.
I have some other goals that might not be so typical though. I want to grow closer to God throughout this semester, and I want to help grow the wonderful ministries at The Wesley Foundation. Something even more unusual would be that by the end of the semester I want to be fasting at least once a week. It's something more and more Christians are doing, and I've been reading a lot about it. I might actually start tomorrow...
Maybe by the end of the semester I'll be able to play the drums? That might not be too realistic, but I'm trying. Hopefully my album will be done too.
